What to Expect

Pricing

All of our leathers (unless otherwise listed) are sold by the square foot or meter. We initially charge a placeholder price based on the largest hide size available. Once your order is picked, we will refund the difference between the placeholder price and the exact price of the hide you will receive.

Check the article description to see the price per ft²/m². If you want a smaller or larger size, please indicate so in the order notes at checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your request, inventory permitting.

Shipping

Your order will generally be processed within two business days. After your order is processed, you will receive an invoice, receipt, and tracking information.

We can ship outside of the United States and Canada, but please contact us at sales@mptw.ca so we can provide you with an accurate quote.

International customers are responsible for all taxes, duties, brokerage fees, etc.

Colour Accuracy

We do our best to accurately represent the colour of our leathers. However, colours can appear significantly different depending on the device and monitor on which they are viewed. Leather colours can also vary between dye lots, especially for aniline leathers.

If you are unsure whether our leathers will work for your project, we recommend ordering a sample or panel before placing a larger order.

Quality

Leather is a natural product, and some degree of scars, fat wrinkles, and other imperfections are to be expected.

  • 1 ft² and 2 ft² panels may have slight imperfections towards the edge.
  • Panels will not include any belly area of the hide.
  • Quarter sides are cut vertically and will include the belly.

Hide Dimensions

Hide dimensions are based on the average size of a hide. If you need specific dimensions for your project, please contact sales@mptw.ca before placing an order.

  • Whole hides are cut in half along the spine.
  • Hide dimensions in the product description are based on the maximum dimensions of an average-sized hide. 
  • Sides are cut in half vertically into two equally sized pieces unless listed otherwise.
  • Quarter hides may be cut vertically or horizontally.
  • Panel dimensions are listed on the product page.
