Description
These Natural Double Butts come from Conceria Dingo in Tuscany. They are tanned in the vachetta style and have a slightly higher oil content than tannages formulated specifically for tooling and dying. They are completely unfinished and will quickly develop a rich patina.
Despite the higher oil content, the hides will still tool, dye, and wet mold. However, the warmer tone can affect the final colour when dyeing.
Half hides will be cut along the longest edge. You will receive one of the two "flaps." Reference the product photos to see an image of the "flaps"
