Description
These skins are C-D grade and unsuitable for larger projects due to many blemishes, overspray, and other imperfections. They are still suitable for wallets and other small projects
Drum-dyed and hot-stuffed with a unique, time-tested blend of waxes, oils, and tallows, H Latigo is a more recent addition to the Wickett & Craig line. After drying, an aniline finish is applied to the grain to provide a slight resistance to aging. This finish is applied lightly to allow the H Latigo to reveal its natural pull-up and full-grain beauty.
Compared to English Bridle, H Latigo has a higher wax content and displays more variation in colour and grain. Some degree of wax bloom is to be expected.
As with all Wickett and Craig Leathers, H Latigo is 100% vegetable-tanned.
