Description
Riva Box, a premium Italian vegetable-tanned double shoulder with a distinctive milled grain, refined buffed flesh side, and medium–firm temper. Note that the grain can vary throughout the hide, with some areas being more milled and others being flatter - no two hides are the same.
Tanned using traditional Italian methods, this 6–7 oz leather (approx. 2.4–2.8 mm) has been milled to enhance grain variation, offering a naturally pebbled surface that adds both visual texture and character. Perfect for briefcases, straps, furniture, and other goods that require a balance of structure and suppleness.
Unlike standard resin-backed leathers, the flesh side of Riva Box has been meticulously buffed to a suede-like finish, delivering a superior hand feel and elevated refinement that’s especially noticeable in unlined projects.
